Nasopharyngeal Airway 28FR - Robertazzi

A Robertazzi nasopharyngeal airway, also known as an NPA or a nasal trumpet. This device earns its name from the flared end. This type of airway adjunct is designed to be inserted into the nasal passageway to secure an open airway. Nasopharyngeal airways are tools used to support the continued airflow in unconscious people. Airways help prevent suffocation by creating an unobstructed path to the lungs. The Robertazzi is designed for easy insertion and consists of soft ultrasil materials. This 28 FR (9.8mm) airway is on the smaller side.
