These sterile skin closure strips are made of a porous, non-woven backing coated with a pressure-sensitive, hypoallergenic adhesive and reinforced with polyester filaments for added strength. Sterile, single use only. A 3M product. Includes one package of 6 Steri-Strips. Steri-strips are used to hold wider wounds together to help the body heal while reducing the chance of scarring. Holding wounds closed helps slow bleeding and protects the inner layers of skin from getting contaminated and infected. Use these wound closures to handle deep wounds until you can get proper medical attention.
